Adventure Based Half Term Activities in Manchester

Half term looming? Plan half term activities packed with adventure and new experiences for your children – and sign them up to the We Are Adventurers holiday club. As well as all of our usual outdoor adventure fun (bushcraft, survival skills and tree-climbing!) our half term activities include seasonal themes – from nest making and Easter egg hunts in Spring, to making a bird feeder in Autumn and pumpkin carving and potion making at Halloween.

Rain never stops play at our half term club – it just brings a whole new world of experiences. We light the campfire, build shelters and make warm drinks. The children come home muddy and happy.

We operate a small site with just 45 children attending. We split the children into age related tribes allowing us to tailor the half term activities to each age group and managing the levels of risk.

Lots of activities, small groups and experienced leaders

Half term activities are managed by a qualified forest school leader or senior instructor and supported by a team of support leaders. All our senior instructors are paediatric first aid trained and experienced at delivering all aspects of our adventure programme.

We operate at small ratios, ensuring that your child gets the most out of their half term holiday. The ratio of leader to children differs depending on the risk assessment of each adventure activity. For example, tool use has a ratio of 1:6, while game playing has a ratio of 1:15.
