We Are Adventurers host team building away days for sports clubs, community groups, businesses and charitable organisations across Manchester, the Lake District, The Peak District and North Wales. Our team building away days are built around your objectives and they can be used to develop communication skills, identify and nurture leadership skills, encourage creative problem solving and promote team culture.
We work with you to create a tailored programme of activities. Choose team building activities including archery, climbing, caving or survival skills or alternatively create an event that encourages a greater appreciation for the natural world by participating in a nature learning day where you can learn how to forage, build a treehouse or create woodland musical instruments that can be donated to schools and charity groups.
Our team of instructors will create an experience that will help your team to grow in confidence, learn more about each other’s strengths and vulnerabilities and go forward stronger than ever.

Our adventure leaders have experienced adventures from the base camp of Everest to the planes, and our company founder spent 12 years in the British Army – a combination of active duty and instructional roles – teaching everything from map reading to firearms handling and leadership courses.
We know that successful teams are made up of many different personality types, and we will work with you to create an experience where people of all ages and abilities can engage and thrive.

How many people can be part of this type of adventure?
We can run corporate team building away days from 6 people up to 90.
However, the number of people involved and their level of physical ability will influence the types of activities we include in your adventure programme.For groups of over 15, it is often a good idea to create a number of adventure ‘stations’ that teams of people can move around, allowing them to have a shared experience and for individuals to ‘shine’ through differing disciplines e.g. archery, raft building, problem solving games and fire lighting.

Do you do overnight camps?
We do. Depending on the level of adventure you’re looking for, this could be a wild camp on a hillside (no facilities), a campsite (showers/toilets) or a youth hostel (shared dorms and beds). If a spa is more your thing, you could always book separately(!) and your leader will meet you onsite each day.
