Outdoor adventure whole class party ideas

Planning a whole class party? Bring your child’s class on a magical woodland adventure with an outdoor kids party where the whole class gets involved. A two hour event, hosted in secure natural woodlands, with space to comfortably host up to 30 children – and a collection of parents. We have a sheltered base camp area with a campfire surrounded by wooden log benches.

We start with a safety briefing followed by woodland games designed to build familiarity in the woodland before starting the main activity. Exciting whole class party ideas include den building, bug hunts and an adventure assault course – or if you’re after something more imaginative our themed class party ideas such as Pirates, Robin Hood, magical wizarding or super heroes will be just the ticket.

All of our outdoor kids parties conclude with the birthday child/children lighting the campfire, gathering around to sing happy birthday and then time to toast a marshmallow before heading home.

Our whole class birthday parties are led by one of our core adventure team supported by an assistant leader who is on hand to help with game play, set up and tidying up. Our core adventure team are paediatric first aid trained and working with children in an outdoor setting all year round.

Rain doesn’t stop play at a We Are Adventurers whole class party – it makes the party even more exciting! So tog up and make sure you have sturdy footwear and we’ll bring the energy and enthusiasm to deliver a high energy party.

  • Where do the parties take place?

    We currently have two party sites in South Manchester: Brookburn Primary Primary School and Trafford Ecology Park
    Brookburn Primary Primary School, Brookburn Rd, Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Manchester M21 8EH
    Access via the rear entrance. Please park in the car park opposite the Bowling Green pub and walk down the cobbled lane if possible.
    Trafford Ecology Park, Lake Rd, Trafford Park, Stretford, Manchester M17 1HB
    Turn into the main car park.

  • What are the party time slots?

    We operate two time slots to allow for the party setting to be reset between events. 11 – 1pm and 2 – 4pm on Saturday and Sunday.

  • Can we bring our own food?

    You are welcome to bring your own party food – alternatively, you can hire a gas BBQ from us and cook sausages for all the party guests or order individual ration packs – with ham, cheese or egg sandwiches, a carton drink, a home baked cookie and a piece of fruit.
